We were still well away from the Baffin Island coast but were now in clear water and making good progress but missed landfalls at Qikiqtarjuag National Park, Isabella bay and Gibbs Fjord, the latter was out of  bounds anyway as the local community but did not want to see us due to hunting
so there was a full day on the ship.

The first presentation was by Cory Trepanier who was up half the night putting together a video presentation for us on his trek on Baffin Island that ended on Pangnirtung where we had picked him up. This we clearly a rugged adventure and his aim was see Mount Asgard again, a tall columnar mountain he had already painted and was on display in his current exhibition "Into the Arctic"

Then it was the turn of the archeologist with a talk "Across the top of the World".

After lunch Cory held drawing class and he provided us with box of black pencils and a drawing pad to encourage us to have a go.

There are no other pictures because they would all be open sea!
